What do I wear? Please come dressed in form fitting, comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement. We practice barefoot.
What do I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, props (blocks, strap, blanket,
extra mat, if needed/last week of session), and towel if you need one.
How do I pay?
Molly will check you in at the beginning of class. Payment (cash or check) is due at the beginning of class. If you're paying in cash, EXACT CHANGE ONLY, please :) We do not accept credit cards, sorry.
Do I need to register with you?
If you're coming to our classes for the first time show up a few minutes
early to sign a waiver and fill out a registration card with your contact
information. We use this information to inform you of class cancellations,
upcoming events, and other important announcements. If you are interested
in a class that runs in monthly sessions or has limited spaces, please
contact the instructor prior to class to ensure there is a spot available.
Other Important Points:
*You do not need to be flexible to do yoga! This is a
common misconception. Yoga helps you become more flexible by allowing
your body to lengthen and expand.
*Please inform your instructor if you have any pre-existing
medical conditions, if you are pregnant, or if you have any injuries,
alignment issues, or chronic aches and pains. Please remember that your
yoga instructor is not a doctor and cannot give medical advice. As with
all exercise programs, please consult your physician before you come to
class if you have any concerns about adding a yoga class to your regimen.
*Please refrain from eating large meals 2 hours prior
to class. A light snack 30 minutes before class is fine.
*Yoga is a non-competitive practice. Your practice and
body will be different everytime you come to your mat. Be kind and patient
with yourself and accept where you are in your practice. Remember, yoga
is about the journey, not the destination.
