TribalTique Tribal Belly Dance Company - Denver Directed and created by Molly McClellan to give her advanced students more performance opportunities and experience, this group has grown not only into a well loved local staple, but has also received national praise. Dedicated and dynamic, these ladies showcase their technique and artistry in improvised sets ranging in a wide variety of music and costuming styles. Whether it’s a more traditional performance with ethnic costuming and zil (finger cymbal) playing, a daring sword performance, or a modern belly dance set with a twist, TribalTique Denver’s performances are always fun and colorful, and more than likely, you’ll never see the same performance twice!
You can find TribalTique Denver performing throughout the Denver Metro area at such events as the Peoples Fair, First Fridays in the Santa Fe Arts District, Bedouin Basements, and the Boulder Creek Festival, as all along the Front Range at various shows and festivals. TribalTiqueDenver also co-produces the company’s yearly Holiday Hafla, as well as hosting “Shimmy Shack”, a community event and show for belly dancers of all styles and experience levels. Check our calendar to see where we’ll be popping up next! TribalTique Denver is also available for workshops and performances. Check out our booking page or email Molly for more information.

Interested in becoming a part of our Tribe? Current students may audition for TribalTique Denver after they have demonstrated dedication, technique, skill, knowledge and proper execution of the MTI format in our weekly classes. Occasionally, we will audition dancers who have taken classes extensively with another out of state improvisational teacher. However multiple classes may be required per week for a time to adjust to TribalTique Denver's unique style. Here is a great article by Wendy Allen of FatChanceBellyDance® about what it takes/what to expect when dancing with a Tribal Improvisational Group. Interested? See our group classes for more information or email Molly directly for a personal evaluation.
